How can we turn concerts in to a participatory art piece simultaneously collects data and educates the audience?
Overview
The Climate Canvas was an audio-reactive installation for Earth Day at MIT. The façade of MIT’s new music building was projection-mapped and accompanied by a musical performance by the electronic duo Warung. Passersby were invited to respond to questions on our website, with their responses projected as text and data visuals. The projected visuals were a combination of AI-generated images of climate futures and wildlife native to Massachusetts.
